Why Are There
So Many Business Links
In A Health And Spiritual
Web Site?

|
I do not believe there is anything spiritual or life &
health enhancing in poverty. In fact it is just the opposite.
After I had my accident and developed many illnesses
(See Before & After), I was
living on disability and barely making ends meet.
After a few years, I lost my home. That period of
time made me realize that it is our attitude towards money, not money
itself, that can cause us problems.
Also, the stress and frustration of that time added to
my health problems.
In short, I had stopped contributing to life and was
quickly becoming part of the problem rather than part of the solution.
It was then that I decided to share my experiences and
research with others the internet.
But, I was still missing the mark. I continued to
struggle financially, and invested what little money I had making this web
site possible and investing in herbs, vitamins, books, programs, etc.
Still I did not accept donations or sell anything,
believing this to be a "altruistic" thing to do.
Today I understand that to be poor means I have little
to give to myself, my family or to others.
To be poor is to also be poor in spirit, with little to
offer others.
I do not discount love as the most important thing we
have to offer, but many times the frustrations of poverty make full
expression of love difficult for most people.
"But", you might ask, "what of the vows of poverty taken
by spiritual people?"
Those people have very large religious organizations
behind them. They do not worry about paying the bills, putting food on
the table, or how to contribute to life.
In most cases, these organizations are very wealthy,
which allows them the freedom to "embrace poverty" because their basic human
needs are taken care of and their good works are paid for by the church.
I offer the option of donations to allow myself to
receive as well as give to others an opportunity to share.
The business opportunities I suggest
all involve reputable companies who's basic premise is "people helping
people." What better way to make a living?
