Obstacles of Success

"I can't do it."

When thinking of opening our own business, one of the first obstacle we encounter is, "I can't do it."

We have been taught to that owning a business is a complex and risky business. Therefore we should put our "nose to the grind stone," and stick out the job - even if it is killing us.

The truth is, in MLM there is very little risk or investment, you can begin part time, you don't need to stock items, and the parent company handles all the collection of money, bookkeeping, and shipping.

Understand Your Motives

The second obstacle is in understanding yourself and your motives.

  This self-understanding can
   give you:

	A solid foundation of self-confidence.
	A priceless knowledge that who you really are is NOT tied into a sale or rejection.
	Allows you to keep your ego from taking a daily beating, which in turn helps you to avoid negative thinking and burn-out.

Understand Your Company

The next obstacle to overcome is to understand your company's policies, products, and procedures.

This Chapter will help you to:

	Analyze how you fit into your company's  structure.
	How you can be part of the solution rather than part of the problem.
	Find your special area of expertise.
	Go the extra mile.
	Be part of the team.
	Know that the more you can participate in the success of your company, the more you are participating in your own success.

The key here is to focus on making your company successful, and in making your distributors successful, your success will follow.

I-Me-Ego

Finally, the last obstacle to overcome is that of being "I-Me-Ego" oriented.

The bottom line in ALL companies, whether you are working for yourself or another company, is the customer. <

It does not matter what type of business you are in, your basic business is in satisfying your customers.

Your customers are YOUR MOST IMPORTANT ASSET! Treat them as such and your will become very successful.

	Refer Customers and New Distributors After you have signed-up a new customer or distributor, give them the address to this web site. It explains everything they need to know from using the products to building a business. Some of my distributors use my web site as a closing tool, saying something like, "After you sign-up, I will give you the address to a great web site that will answer all your questions." They then tell them their favorite parts of this site.
	Stay In Contact Don't forget to stay in contact with your customers and distributors. Let them know they are valued and find out if they have any questions. Always remember that the road to success in MLM is dependent upon helping others to become healthy and wealthy!
